Varieties: Tempranillo, Garnacha and Albillo Mayor. Average production 2500 kg/Ha
Soil: Calcareous clayey loam.
Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of a single plot over 90 years old located in La Horra (Burgos).
Crop type: Sustainable agriculture.
Alcoholic fermentation: Direct pressing and fermentation in tank with indigenous yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: in barrels for one year.
Aged in 225-liter American oak barrels for 24 months and the rest of the time in bottle.
Alcohol %: 13.5º.
Production: 698 numbered bottles. 750 ml
Visual appearance: Ruby red with brick-red rim, clean and bright.
Aroma: Dried fruits, ripe fruit, floral tones, spices, undergrowth, mineral tones, lighter stone.
Palate: Fresh, long, elegant with good acidity, very complex, good balance.
Keeps for 50 years.
