Grape variety: Tempranillo 85% and garnacha 15%. Average production 1.900 Kg/Ha
Soil: Calcareous and sandy loam.
Location of the vineyards: Aranda de Duero (Burgos) and Gumiel de Mercado, production of 8 micro-plots. Manual selection of vineyards over 70 years old.
Crop type: Eco-ground and sustainable
Alcoholic fermentation: On concrete deposit with native fermenting fungus
Malolactic fermentation: in barrel 9 months
Aged in 225l, 300l and 500l of French, Hungarian and American oak, the last 12 months in 500l barrels. Total aging 30 months.
Alcohol: 14% by Vol.
Production: 4.420 numbered bottles (only 500 units for sale each year). 750 ml.

Tasting notes

Visual appearance: garnet red color with medium high density with violet edge

Aroma: Floral, spicy, red fruit, cacao, very deep and high complexity. Very dynamic in the glass.

Palate: Velvety, vertical, reminds you of the soil where it was born

Self life between now and 50 years.
