Appellation: Ribera del Duero
Grape variety: Tempranillo 85% and Garnacha 15%. Average production 4.900 kg/Ha
Soil: Calcareous clay.
Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of plots over 50 years old located in La Horra and Gumiel de Mercado (Burgos).
Crop type: Eco-ground 80%, sustainable agriculture 20%.
Alcoholic Fermentation: In concrete deposits with native fermenting yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: In concrete deposits.
Aged in 225l American, Hungarian and French oak barrels for 12 months and another 8 months in concrete tanks.
Alcohol: 14.5o% Vol.
Production: 10.485 numbered bottles. (750ml.)

Tasting notes

Visual appearance: Cherry red with violet edge

Aroma: Berries, very clean toasted wood, balsamic, mineral, very elegant.

Palate: Soft and delicate, good balance and acidity with notes of fruit and minerality.

A wine with great balance and finesse, very fresh and ready to enjoy.

Self life between now and fifteen years.
Recommended serving temperature 18 ºC
Suitable pairings: meat, game, fatty fish and stews, very versatile
