Varieties: Tempranillo 85% and Garnacha 15% Average production 4,500 kg/Ha.
Soil: Calcareous clay.
Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of plots over 50 years old located in La Horra and Gumiel de Mercado (Burgos).
Crop Type: 80% organic, 20% sustainable agriculture.
Alcoholic fermentation: In concrete tanks with native yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: In concrete tanks.
Aged in 225-l American, Hungarian and French oak barrels for 12 months and 8 months in concrete tanks.
Alcoholic content: 14.5º.
Production: 10,485 numbered 1.5 liter bottles.
Tasting notes
Visual phase: Cherry red color with violet hues.
Nose: Forest fruits and hints of fine wood, balsamic, mineral, very elegant.
Tasting phase: Soft and delicate touch, good balance and acidity with hints of fruit and minerality. A wine with great balance and delicacy, very fresh and ready to enjoy.
Keeps well from now to 15 years.
Recommended serving temperature: 18º.
Ideal pairings: Meat, oily fish, various stews, very versatile.
