Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of a single plot over 90 years old located in La Horra (Burgos).
Crop Type: Sustainable agriculture.
Average Yield: 2.500 kg/Ha
Alcoholic Fermentation: Direct pressing and fermentation in concrete tanks with native yeast.
Malolactic Fermentation: In oak barrels during 12 months.
Aged during 24 months in 225l. American Oak Barrels and rest of the time in bottle.
Alcohol: 13,5º
Production: 698 numbered bottles 750 ml.
Tasting notes
Visual Appearance: Ruby red with brick-red rim, clean and bright.
Aroma: Dried fruit, ripe fruit, floral tones, spices, undergrowth, mineral tones, lighter stone.
Palate: Fresh, long, elegant with good acidity, very complex and balanced.
Self life between now and fifty years.
Recommended serving temperature: 14ºC.
