Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of plots over 70 years old located in the surroundings of Aranda de Duero (Burgos).
Crop type: Sustainable agriculture
Alcoholic fermentation: in concrete tanks with indigenous yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: in concrete tanks.
Aged in 225 l Spanish oak barrels, Quercus Pyrenaica, for 18 months and 6 months in concrete tanks.
Alcohol %: 15º.
Production: 10,526 numbered bottles. 750 ml.
Tasting notes
Visual appearance: Deep cherry red color with violet hues.
Aroma: Very fresh fruit, floral tones, undergrowth, earth, undergrowth and balsamic.
It reveals the nuances and depth of the terroir. The character of Spanish oak and the personality it infers are reflected in this wine. Serious, deep and aromatic, with earthy characters at its best.
Palate: Elegant, ample, structured, robust and oily. Essence of minerality, great balance in the combination of wood, earth and fruit.
Keeps for up to 20 years.
