Type of soil: Calcareous with high percentages of active limestone.
Location of the vineyards: Manual selection of vineyards over 70 years old located in the surroundings of Aranda de Duero (Burgos).

Alcoholic fermentation: in concrete tanks with indigenous yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: in barrels for 6 months.
Ageing in 225 litre barrels of 75% Hungarian, 20% French and 5% American Cantonese for 28 months and 8 months in tank.
Alcohol: 14º.
Production: 6.600 numbered bottles. 750 ml.
Tasting notes
Visual Appearance: garnet red color with medium high density with violet edge.
Aroma: Balsamic, mineral, floral, red fruit, fine spicy and cacao.
Palate: very elegant wine with character and finesse. Velvety and delicate first, followed by an explosion of flavors: floral, fresh red fruit, tobacco and black licorice. Bodied, very delicate and intense. Perfectly balanced sweet tannins that give palatability and length.
Self life between now and fifteen years.
Recommended serving temperature: 18ºC.
