Grape variety: Tempranillo 80%, garnacha 15%, merlot 5%. Average production 1.900 Kg/Ha.
Soil: Calcareous and sandy loam.
Location of the vineyards Aranda de Duero (Burgos) and Gumiel de Mercado, production of 8 microplots. Manual selection of vineyards over 70 years old.
Crop type: Eco-ground and sustainable.
Alcoholic Fermentation: On concrete deposit with native yeast.
Malolactic fermentation: in oak barrel for 9 months.
Aged in 225l., 300l. and 500l. of French, Hungarian and American oak, the last 12 months in 500l barrels. Total aging 30 months
Alcohol %: 13,5.
Production: 3.696 numbered bottles (only 500 units for sale each year).

Tasting notes

Visual appearance: garnet red color with medium high density with red-violet edge
Aroma: Floral, spicy, red fruit, cacao, very deep with high complexity and very dynamic in the glass.
Palate: well-defined wine with character and personality. Velvety, vertical, reminds you of the soil where it was born.

Self life between now and 50 years.
Recommended serving temperature 18-20º.
